dare couldnt launch for shat we were on the phone with a real racer getting tips but its a lot harder to keep your revs up

if he was spraying and only running 14's something is wrong his car def checks out though! i bet if he sprayed he would get lower and had slicks im sure his baller rims slowed him down a bit

The 1st race Kevin check out on me because I guess I had butterflys . I got the jump (better reaction time), but I blew the shift to 2nd (and third ). After ****ing up the shift to 2nd it was lights out for me.

The 2nd race something was wrong with his launch control, so he was was expecting his rpm to stay out the light, but it did. That's why he was sleeping at the light. Then I believe he missed 3rd, so he shut it down.


Overall it was pretty fun, and more people should of came out.

Thanks for the vid Jermaine. I ran 3 times: 14.6 @ 99, 14.5 at 99, and like 16.xx was exactly what Darryl said, launch control was acting up and my tranny wouldn't go into 3rd (I don't miss gears), so I just cruised.

Darryl does need the driver mod, but practice makes perfect so keep on hitting up the track home skillet.

And oh yeah, no spray for me. Nitrous has been acting up for awhile now (nitrous backfires, crazy explosions etc.) so I don't even mess with it.

Post your 60ft and short-track times Kevin. Looks like Dare makes up CRAZY ground on you on the big end. He traps 98MPH too I think.

Uhh, I don't know what you're talking about but Dare doesn't trap over 94 and the time where I let off because my tranny wasn't letting me into 3rd, I cruised the rest of the track, is what you're talking about then. My 60' are average for FWD street tires 2.2-2.4.

That hatch has a GSR tranny too and not a LS tranny like you have (I ran him at SDR). Plus, thats your boy and not you. Do you have any experience?!? What are your numbers so far before your car went down?!?

For some reason I don't really believe an LS w/ GSR tranny in an EG will run a 14.6 (trap speed?) unless I see it in person but anyway, we will/should all get together and hit up Commerce on a Friday before it closes early Nov. Then all the trash talking will stop!
