we need to have an EF test and tune day. sum1 needs to set up a bracket and we need to go @ this tournament style. just my 2 cents.

Yea everyone thinks there ef is :crazy: fast.As long as my car hasnt been running im scared it will run like a single cam.

^^^I think his lowest time was 14.6 or 14.5 thats pretty good.I dont know if his b16 is stock though but thats good.I seen people with Gsr hatches that cant hit 15s.

Damn if most of yall are running 14s, 15s and 16s i want to join lol. All i ever get put up against at commerce is 10s evos, 12s mustangs, and the occasional 13s lifted turbo diesel haha

Also ls with and ls tranny shouldnt be able to do better that low 15s high 14s.

Yeah stock LS w/ an LS transmission won't get you into the 14s, unless your car is guttttttttttted to hell. The GSR tranny is a HUGE upgrade. Had a friend with a semi gutted eg, LS w/ basic bolt ons, and a GSR tranny(open diff.) run mid high 14s on street tires.

wow kevin i still have your first run lmk if you want me to upload it on my page for you to have you ran a 14.6 against that s10 im down to WATCH at the test and tune i saw first hand in the car with dare how hard it is to keep your revs up and ill pass for now

haha, well i can attest that commerce isn't always prepped the best, the altitude isn't optimal, and you can run a couple of tenths slower than at say silver dollar or elsewhere.....

mph is a good indicator of power/ weight, but street tires keep a lot of cars at an et that seemingly would be lower.

Anyway, I wish I had been able come out and give you guys a run for your $ - but on the other hand we had a rough weekend and had to put our man's best friend of 14 years to sleep...... :(

I don't understand why this thread got so out of hand. You all know there's someone out there who's faster - and they've usually spent twice as much $! :P

If you guys get something together, I'd be down. I'll run on street tires too! :)

When I had drag radials on mine I launched at 4k I think and it hooked

Next time I go I'm gonna try to launch at 5k maybe

I might have to go out to the 1/8th mile and practice my launch to drop my time

Yea usually with radials its best if you launch at 5k.:goodjob: Any lower it might bog.I usually launch at 3k on street tires and feather but with radials just let it spin.:burnout:
