I wanted a professional paint job but the prices around town are ridiculous so I have spent the past few days researching rattle can paint jobs on-line, and decided to do it. So I went to Home Depot today and bought one can of Rust-oleum Painter's Touch [Gloss] in Navy Blue, a can of gloss black and a can of clear gloss of the same brand. I sprayed one fender just to see how it was going to look [following directions and tips from videos/forums that I researched.] This is how it turned out:
This was the second coat. Kind of streaky. Tape on the side molding.
This was the third coat [we did light first coat, light second coat, sanded it, light third coat.] I messed up painting the side moldings black. But this was just an experiment so...![]()
And this is what it looks like now after gloss.
So... what do y'all think? Yay or nay?
