Honestly, I wasn't going to post in this thread and let you guys do whatever, but the more I think about it, the more I think JDMJAY's idea is really, really, really bad.

Here's the thing....Street racing, no matter how or where it's done is the most moronic thing one can do behind the wheel of a car.

You guys that want to line up against each other to see who's the fastest...take it Commerce where there are safety crews on deck if something goes wrong.

Can't make it to the strip with any of the other guys? Well, go when you can and post your ETs.

Make no mistake, I have no problem with friendly competition. But, please, for the love of God, yourselves, and innocent drivers just trying to go home from work/school/friend's houses/or where ever, keep the racing where it belongs...on a track.

+34 for this post. I had no idea this group was about this kind of activity. Disappointing to say the least. Well one of the last of the good clubs has just fallen. And I don't have to mention what I hope happens if this goes through. Damn this sucks. Later, QD.
