    Default Provide pictures of a retainer clip for speedo cable

    hey my mph dont climb for nothing and i think im missing the retainer clip, and i got no clue of how it looks like, can someone provide a picture thanks

    I don't have the clip on mine and it works fine. The only problem I've ran into was I didn't have it plugged into the trans far enough.

    The clip is a good idea but isnt entirely necessary, ive ran without one for years. just make sure the speedo cable is pushed in all the way, you may have to rotate the hweels a little and try again since its gotta fit in a groove.

    Speedo cables do go out, go buy one from Honda (should be less than $60) and you'll speedo will work beautifully again. For years my speedo cable was going out because it always bounced but now it's smOOth sailing!

    well i searched on the ground and found the retainer clip....speedo works now....Woof lucky me
