Not because they are ugly. Just like if you get the DR28s (which are copies of my new wheels). I searched years for this particular wheel in the proper offset and bolt pattern (which is rare because they were made for fwd cars), and now all my hard work to become unique is not going to paying off because that particular style of wheel is going to become main stream.
    I'm not really trying to be a pain, but SSR did not originate that style of wheel. They are copies of Panasport Minilites. The Minilites were, tmk, a Magnesium alloy wheel and far lighter and stronger than nearly any of the copies that are currently on the market, i.e. Konig Rewind, SSR, Drag, and maybe others.

    My for the OP, I like the 21s or the 28s. And, I think bronze, gold, silver or gunmetal will look fine on a white car.

    Never said SSR originated that style. That style is called "eight spoke" which was created my RS Watanabe in 1968 (unless Panasport made their minilites before 1968 which is highly unlikely) My was rims were produced for SSR (Known as Speed Star Company when my rims were released) by RS Watanabe as a "limited edition eight spoke". Even though my wheels had a Speed Star Company decal on the inner well of the wheel, you will notice my wheels has a raised RS Watanabe symbol on the face, hence the reason why they go by the name Speed Star Company (SSR) RS8s or RS Watanabe RS8s.

    {this symbol to the left}

    and I circled in red the RS Watanabe symbol on my wheels.

    Brian, these are my all time favorite wheels!!! I have done plenty of research on them
