Unhappy Gettin out of the game

I guess my EF doesnt love me as much as I love it. Its making it impossible for me to keep it running and so on. 5 dizzy's 4 tune up, 28 spark plugs and whole exhaust and all other stuff and it just fell apart 2 days before I move.

I'ma have to leave the older cars I suppose, though I do love my EF. THIS EF doesnt want to be with me, like its got PMS or something everyday of the week.

I'll have to get rid of it soon. Thanks for the help though (to the guys that did) to try and make this ish last. I guess I'll be looking into EG's or DA's or something. I need something for college and this just aint cutting it.

man all the money you have spent on that failing D series makes no sense if you saw you were going through dizzy's and tune up and all that i would have just bought a newer motor ppl basically throw away D series now when they upgrade to a B you could have gotten one or should i say can get one for alittle under 300 bucks or so perfect examples

dude wants 600 obo you CAN talk him down easy
    FS: D15B7 SWAP (COMPLETE) CHEAP!!!

    si tranny 100 obo
    HONDA/ACURA PARTS FOR SALE!!!

if your trying to save your motor hell rebuilt head right here
FS:bseries, dseries, tranny, hondata, tokico springs, cams, strut bar

if you can get the money up this is a good deal LS swap built for a crx
TW: LS Cable Swap for EF chassis

i hate to do it to another ef guy but hell im sure you could low ball him a bit on this
    d series swap (mpfi)

in closing i did all this in about 10 mins this 10 mins you could have done would have saved you X amount of dollars when you KNEW you needed a car to make the long trip back to OHIO if i were you instead of buying all this stuff to fix your clearly failing motor i would buy something more reliable! take it or leave it its just my.2 from someone that has been in your place before only difference is i didnt know about IA so i was dumping all my money at the HONDA dealership

Well its been to Ohio 3 times. Its just that now its all fallen apart. I see what u mean. But I didnt just dump into it. It seemed like a nice motor and car. So... I tried. But NOW, this week, everything came apart.

And I didnt buy any dizzy but the first, but living off of rebuilds sucks.

What? You thought you could just jump into a 18 year old car and drive it with no problems?!? Any car that old is going to give you some problems. Owning an EF really shows you how dedicated you and by giving up shows me you lack the qualities needed to own an EF. I can go down the list of everyone problems and they have yet to give up.

    1. Joker took like 6 months to pass emissions
    2. Jeff wreaked his crx twice this past year and look at his car
    3. Kevint707 blew up his motor and got into multiple wreaks in the past few years
    4. Cato has coolant problems and it doesn't bother him much.
5 Last, I got into 2 accidents in the same week this past summer and you don't see me giving up.

Well wish you the best on your new car, and when you sell your rex make sure you sell it to someone thats going to take care of it.

Dare, I know that the car is old. I've put lots of money into this thing. And I didnt give up when it broke down on me in TN, or in KY, or in Ohio before I made it back down here. I havent given up on it. I just dont have the money anymore and schools 4 days away and I dont have a way back up there to attend.

This car has been almost completely renovated and after I shove my last $600 into it, it craps out on me like this. I cant even get home in this thing. It'd be different if I could get a motor installed within the next 2 days or something. But thats a long shot.

there's people on here that can install a motor in a day.

I believe (moreover now than I did 2 days ago) that 3 of the 4 piston rings have given out. I have a link for u to read the breakdown.

I still need it installed, if u can find someone or kno someone willing to do that, I'd gladly try it one more time.

Talk about cheap. LOL. Just needing to con someone into installing it. Or at least making me help as well (cuz I wanna learn to) I dont have much money, but I'll pay.

Well I'll be here till at least tuesday. Ben is willing to do it for me and I got Jose (cactusEG) to help as well as myself. So maybe we can get it down in about a day and a half. I just need to get the motor. That LS swap will be time consuming and I'll be missing school. 3days behind already!!! But I'd like to have a fresh motor, though that one has 140,xxx on it.

Jhot's to far away and... I havent checked the other places for motors yet. I'd like to use the d15 (jap version) since I dont kno the real number of it. But Halfwit used to have one. Plus, its simply remove and install.

LS is really no different than throwing in a d16a6 back in. Holla at skinny cuz he has everything you need and you would like it better that the "d". Also there's are a few jdm engine suppliers in atlanta like jarco, nadauto, and pacific.

as for the d15, if you are talking about the "sohc zc" it's more powerful than your d16a6 by 10hp (crank)

U mean OG Skinny, or EF's skinny? Cuz I talked to OG Skinny and he'll put that motor in for $1200 that includes the motor. lol. The other skinny would charge me for everything and... I just dont have the money at this point in time.

    OG Skinny

Anyways, that's a good deal (if you can afford it), and you would step your game up greatly!

Put like this, if you buy another d from a engine supplier thats about $500 and then it's going to be another $600-$800 to install it, plus you got to change out stuff like water pump and timing belt... If you get the swap from skinny he did alot of the stuff already.
