A CRX dashboard is the same, whether you have an HF or an Si, 88 or 91. The only real option is color, it comes in blue or black.

The cluster cover is different 88/89 vs. 90/91, and HFs don't have a clock in the center vent, but a bare dash is identical to any other CRX dash.

    Uh...not true...?

My CRx cluster cover won't fit my dash/gauges...I don't knwo which one is the problem, but I have the rounded off one, and it won't fit. I've been told I need the squared one. Problem is I wanna use the rounded one...

Note...question mark means I'm not stating this to be factual

They're identical, I assure you. Which cluster do you have? A 90-91 rounded cluster cover won't fit perfectly over an 88/89 cluster.

Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong. Like the ***** won't fit at ALL...

Maybe I need to look into a new cluster...

Damnit, that's gonna suck cuz I'll have to mess with another friggin' odometer...

I think it will. I'm about 90% sure. You'll have to rewire it regardless. Test fit first.

    Just may have to...

I'm trying to think. I don't know what year CRx my dash came out of...

I know that my current TWO hatches are BOTH 91's...but the current DD I remember replacing the cluster. I had a CRx Si at one point...if I remember right, she was an 88/89...and I think I MIGHT have taken her cluster?

Damn I wish I could remember better...looks like I'm gonna spend some time online tonight comparing years/part numbers on the honda parts website...

It would make sense that you have an 88/89 CRX cluster, and that's why the 90/91 CRX cluster cover won't fit. It doesn't matter what year the dash is.

According majestic (going off their product numbers...not actual part numbers) the dash, the visor, and the visor mounts are all different between the two year-sets...

The cluster from '88-'89 and '90-'91 are definately different. There are some wiring differences, but they can be made to work across the two year sets, iirc. We tried a '90-'91 cluster in my friend's '89 hatch and the tach didn't work and the fuel gauge read funny.

ben, what dash do you have in your new hatch....?

if it's an Si and you replace it with a crx cluster (which i think you like better) than you have a buyer for the Si hatch dash right here

Well...I've got two black dashes. One rex. One hatch. Just debating which should go where and to follow the scheme throughout the car...

well, i'll gladly take your hatch dash any day, providing it's in good condition.

I say you go with the rex dash because it's angled and you seem to like that more.... the integra console doesn't line up EXACTLY and it seems that you're looking for perfection with your new car...

so use the rex dash, and i'll buy your Si dash
