maybe you guys are misunderstanding me.

In a CRX, you best bet is a CABLE GSR YS1 IF YOU CAN FIND ONE, but good luck.

After that is a Hydro transmission. The YS1 GSR has almost the same internals as a hydro B16 so they are almost the same.

My point is, youll NEVER FIND ONE. They only came in 92-93 GSRs. They are EXTREMELY rare, and there are alot of bull sh it claims on the internet.

EVERY DA integra had a transmission that said YS1. The only way to tell for sure if its the BALLIN GSR is to pop the case an count the teeth on the final drive.

    Ive owned an driven both.

The Hydro B16 with ATS 3rd/4th and Kaaz LSD was the best transmission i ever owned. It shifted smooth, crisp and clean. It never gave me any trouble. Still runs to this day ina buddys car actually lol.

Now, my friend had a YS1 GSR with 4.78 FD and a ITR LSD. It was freshly rebuilt, he had over $2000 in his trans. and after 6 months of hard driving, it started grinding 3rd gear at high rpms.

Now any tranny can fail, ive just seen more cables do it than hydros.

I had the HASPORT kit, any aggresive pressure plate an it wont disengage properly. It was a decent kit, but had issues with flexing an binding.

In a crx, your best bet is :

Cable B16 (easy to find, just be prepared for it to go out)
    Cable YS1 GSR
    Hydro

But if money wasnt an option, IMO the hydro is better.
