The OBD-1 JDM B16 is not the same engine as the OBD-0 engine. It has higher compression (10.4 vs 10.2), slightly more aggressive cams and better flowing manifolds, which adds up to 10 more hp. You can convert a 1st gen B16 to OBD-1 but you won't get that extra 10 hp.
