As for the hydro vs. cable debate, hydro has the advantages of being newer and you'll never stretch a clutch cable because of a badass pressure plate. Unfortunately, all the "hydro conversion kits" I've seen suck too, especially Hasport's. The best way to put a hydro tranny in an EF is to install a full hydraulic clutch system, but that's not exactly cake. I'll take a cable YS1 any day.
