new to the honda/ EF game

so this past weekend i picked up my winter project(i know it's winter already), it's a 1990 honda civic SI hatchback. it's got me so hyped up it's not even funny. here are some pics. hope u guys like.

these were taken yeasterday after working on it and cleaning it out.

and now for my ghetto exhaust holder/ thingamajig

P.S. dont make fun of me cuz of my signature i know it contradicts what im happy about. lol

i guess im just happy to own something with potential. yaeh my 2000 celica has no potential, but i still love her.

thanx i will keep everyone up dated. yes she needs plenty of love but she will recieve the attention she deserves.

my plans for the car is to make it my track/DD/weekend worrior. so there for it's not going to have interior, A/C, MAYBE heat if i can find some. full 6 point cage compliments of my friend cory A.K.A spoon 91

i have an LS/VTEC wit GSR head at work that im currently building for it. at this point and time im just going to primer it flat black untill i feel the need for a color change.

y not. as long as u add multiple coats and wet sand it, it should come out fine. that is in my opinion. if not rattle-can then wat?

Leave it be. Just put rattle can over where there's raw metal showing...

I thought primer would be easy upkeep. I've been MADLY mistaken, and I regret it to this day...I can't wait til the new hatch is sprayed so I don't have to deal with the ****, anymore...

I starting to build on My '02 Civic.

You know the one with the nice Bodykit/Hood/Headlights and stuff.......NOT ANY MORE!!!

I pulling it ALL off and building the F**king $hit out of the Suspension and throwing a little Boost on it too.

So YES I'm parting out My Hatch and Drews old Hatch aswell SO if You Guys can think of anything You may want

ok everyone since i have been w/o a car for a week and didnt go anywhere today i figured i work on the hatch all day. so i got up around 9:15 and start to work on the car around 9:45, the first thing i did was put on the integra mirrors i got from cory. i had to notch 2 of the wholes in order for th mirror to bolt on. but they came out great and look good on the car. i also sanded both halfs of the car, except for the center. i had to sand some runs in the paint from the previous owner. i then painted majority of the driverside, front bumper, and bumper filler. this took me all the way up till about 5:30 to do, so it was a long day. i was planning on working on the car tomarrow but im going to cory's to chill for a little bit and ill get back on the car next weekend.

dont make fun of the bumper i know it's lopsided but it's not bolted all the way down cuz i need to take it off for somemore painting.

oh and a special thanx to the litlle kids on my block that helped me sand the car, they did a pretty good job i must say

well here are the pics of todays process.

it looks like there is still runs in the paint, but it's as smooth as a baby's a$$

as u can see in this pic there is alot less red due to the sanding

and here is the finish product of a day's long work.

looks like i have from mount in this pic lol

i still need to apply another coat of primer and paint the door jams.

BUY A PALM SANDER!!!! it will save you so much time and that looks like cory's old spoon front bumper !!!! damn you lol looks like the hatch is coming along nicely you really did pic the best car to start out on is a great shell. Its gonna be hella nice too when you paint it since ther is nothing in it. I would hit up spray glo in duluth i just got a quote on my hatch and it was 600 so i know it wont be super expensive to get it painted when your ready
