Assuming he saw 8000 rpm at 100 mph, there's only one transmission that would mathematically allow that, and it's not a B16 trans. It's an Integra LS tranny. Nobody interested in performance would use one of these, except maybe for turbo, but that's not the case here. The speed shown corresponds fairly well to 10k rpm in 3rd gear of an S80 Type R tranny. Stock tachs aren't 100% accurate of course, so it could also be a GSR or B16 trans.
And then feeding the fuel to that fire, maybe the speed sensor didn't match the actual speed of the car as well, meaning that it was possibly going faster or slower than it said to possibly support either of our claims. I've heard 9k on a B16a, and it didn't sound quite as close. And then the vid say high boost. If that was the case, he must not have been running no more than 3 or 4 psi because it wasn't moving that fast. But I guess niether you or me won't know, will we? It sounded good though
