Default EF relay Temporary quick fix!!

I put a new relay in my CRX while i was in GA, my door seal leaked, and it got full of water and ruined it. I pulled the BAD relay out of my 91 Hatch. Just to try it. It worked, but only every once in a while.

So for now what I did, was I didn't bolt it back to the panel. I left it hang and used a small C clamp on it. if you pull the cover off, on the 2 longest sides, there's just plastic walls so to speak. On there is where i put the clamp. I put it on with a decent amount of pressure, my car starts, and runs fine, every single time I go to start it. When my girlfriend gets home, i'll see if she'll take a picture with her phone, and i'll show you exactly what I mean.

Yeah... usually if you squeeze a bad main relay it will help it make contact.

Sure does!! I drive the car everyday now. Starts every single time, and saved me (for now) the 50 bucks to get a new one.
