Well...seeing as I lead these things (unless someone else steps up...or...can...pass me...) my only requests are that people don't cross double yellows, don't cross solid whites, don't pass erratically or competitively, and you let faster drivers pass you...other than that, just knowing and staying within your limits, and I won't have a problem with whoever you are or whatever you drive.

yea, crossing the yellows, i didn't know that last time....lol i just followed whoever was infront of me. We did't cross the yellows going into a blind turn, but still, i realize not that you never know whats gonna happen up there.
i know when we go back up there i'm not gonna drive as fast as i did before. a little more agressive than a "relaxing ride" though.

Yeah, I mean I can't keep my eyes behind me the whole time to make sure everyone follows rules...and seeing as alot of people were meetin me for the first time, I didn't wanna come off as a ****, sounding like "I own these mountains, what I say goes, and if you think otherwise, you're wrong." I didn't wanna sound like the bastardly veteran that's over-cocky and arrogant. However..I have been up there and seen people slip up. When they do...it's bad. If you keep yourself in your lines...you've got more room to recover when you actually DO go outside the lines. If you can manage your car at a decent rate of speed inside the lines, then getting your car back under control if you slide out shouldn't be a problem. Just a general rule...afterall, it IS a road...not a track. But like I said...everyone's got their own agenda for rules and such.

It's not those that are driving spirited; they inherently understand that the best way to avoid a wreck is to stay in their own lane. It's the incompetent morons cruising around in their excessively sized vehicles, who think the whole road belongs to them that cause most of the trouble.

I'll be running video this time. I fabbed up a decent camera mount that has worked rather well at three track events so far, although it isn't quite as cool as the chase cam.
