The idea behind the meet was that if sum1 didn;t want to do one thing, they would know what time and where to meet up w/ us to do the part they want to, ya know?
So once we establish times, guy can make the flyer, and then we can post up the threaD!

Only part that sucks about that is that whoever's not gonna be there at 9 has to keep numbers to someone that'll be there all day.

Look dudes. 9am at the V. Nov 10th. Saturday. Don't be late. We'll hit the mountains first.
Ben, how long does the mountain run take? It's important we know this. We'll meet back up for lunch at 12:30 or there about, eat, and then multiple convoys out to some locations for photoshoots. We need to pick a restaurant and photo points. Darryl, pick some place to eat. Cato, 90ZC, and Uproot (the hatch crew) can collectively decide where we're gonna photoshoot. Post your decisions here. 3 places should be plenty.
Then, we're gonna meet up for go-karts at 4:30 pm. Ben, I'm putting you in charge of this. Call the go-kart place and get some group rates and maybe a reservation. I know they're open until 1 am. Do they have food there?

i was almost on the road this afternoon... got my head back from the shop today with the new supertech valves installed; put it on - cranked it up... Invidia exhaust sounded sick with the cams. As a huge Snoopy cheezy grin crossed my face i decided to give it the "RPM test" while it was still on jackstands.
which was probably a bad idea. but a good idea at the same time...
As soon as i got into the upper RPMs where the engine is really takin off, the EXACT same thing happened. intake cam slipped right before my very eyeballs... and the engine locked up instantly.
I took the cover back off to see how bad it was, and it had almost done a complete rotation out of time. The ONLY thing it can be is the stupid timing belt, (which was still tight btw)... I have always used a GSR belt for my frankenstein motors, but i guess this one doesn't like it. So i ordered one for a B16, picking it up in the morning and I'm going to reset my timing and pray to God that Supertech stainless valves are strong enough to take a hit without bending.
I'll post up a thread tomm with the results. I'm not happy tonight... kinda anxious.

The drive up to Dahlonega will take a hour.
The mountain run will be about a hour with no stops(faster for some).
With stops it will take about 2 hours(which I know we'll stop every now and then).
And the drive back down to atlanta is another hour.
I've gone back and ran it a few times since the last meet. So as long as we stick with the same roads we're looking at about 4 hours devoted to the mountains.
Don't look to me for photo locations, unless you guys are willing to come up to Canton. In which case I have some good spots.
Driving from Atlanta to Canton will take like 30-45 minutes.
i'll get in touch w/ guy and we'll figure out sum nice pic locations.
oh im so excited..... im like a little girl....

So.... 9am @ the V, roll out to the mountains..... sum1 said that will take about 4 hours, so lets say we'll meet @ Restaurant _________ For lunch at 1:00pm. Then cruising around ATL between 2-4 or so, and then Andretti @ 4:30.
Does that sound like a good plan on Sat? I just want to establish times, and not feel like we're on a super tight schedule...

Yes, they do serve food and we can either be catered (by them) or go to Ethyl's bar. But Ethyl's I wanna say is like 21+.
