got a question...i was looking for timing belts today and i saw that a dx belt runs 106 teeth and a 107 for the si.....thought that it was 105 for the dx and 106 for the si. asking cuz i am running all si parts on my zc and want to get the correct belt. one on the engine now is a 107 and seems like it is misfiring ... che3ck back tonight when i get home cuz we are super busy at the shop today! thanks in advance!

5 is map sensor code all new vacuum lines say there shouldnt be a leak and once again had no problems before the swap and replaced with a known good one as well.

i tried to do the same as most of the write ups when searching online it was a simple method but found that alot of the wires on the si ecu dont match the harness in the dx so i ended up switching some pins to the correct locales. extended the right plugs and swapped tps. ran all the wires, injectors, dizzy plug. its all right and checked each one and traced it all the way before making connects...i know the wiring is correct!
If you are certain its not the wiring then it just might be the Dizzy or Ecu
when it revs to about 3k it starts to stumble is the best way to describe i guess as if iacv was going bad. right now i have dizzy retarded about half way and it is idling at about 800-840 with fans off. im starting to guess and i dont want to do that cuz thats gonna end up messing something up. i do think i have an intake valve tapping on #2 so im gonna go back and double check valves in the morning if im not swamped at work.

now on the ecu which WHITE WIRE is the fat one and which is the skinny one? on a 91 the two wires are side-by-side on the ecu "C" plug. c15&c16 or c14&c16 depending on how plugs are numbered on your diagram. on the 89 however the locations are c6&c15 or c11&c16. i know at one point i had swapped these two according to the 91 diagram just to see if it would kick a 1...O2 sensor code and did not. have never had one! so if anyone can look at the plugs and tell me which locale has the fat WHITE wire and which has the skinny. 89 or 91 doesnt matter can be hf's as long as i know if the skinny or fat wire is in the c16 location that will help alot. maybe that will be the gremlin for my 3 flashes and possibly fix the 3k stumble i got, yes still going on.
