Afraid not. Hell...I didn't even stay in the "import" world.

Nonetheless, I got a 2006 Ford Mustang GT. It's the 4.6L V8 on a 5spd with Ford racing exhaust, the shelby 17's, cold air intake, and some other goodies that I have yet to fully discover. She runs high 13's (if driven well) and she's very excited on the rear end when I want her to be. Black leather interior, charcoal silver on the outside. The paint appears to be more blue/purple in the pictures than she really is...

Looks clean, the wheels match well. Nemesis is selling a Borla exhaust for a good price.

Well, I would, but this thing hit my pocket hard. Borla makes a great sound, though. If it didn't already have ford racing under the rear, I'd probably take it. She's VERY clean at only 16K miles. I did find a front "tap" that carfax never picked up, though. The wheels match PERFECTLY...they actually were an option for the car, I believe, so the previous owner clearly agreed. I've thought about what other rims I could put on her...and I just can't see changing them.

Hey, I prefer the honesty, by far. I agree, though...hate mustangs. Something about this one, though, just...I don't know. I liked it.

Those new mustangs are such a HUGE improvement over the last two models. They even make power over 3k rpm . I like, congrats.

Thanks to the props, and for those with thumbs pointing downward...eh, mustangs aren't EVERYONE's thing, and I fully respect that. At the same time, I kinda wanted to "blend in" with the crowd for a little while. Mustang or a stock civic were the way to go for that, LoL. I hope to one day come back to the EF Squad with a...it'll probably be another hatch. Just for old time's sake, but it will be trailered most everywhere and for race-only, pretty much. Just a second toy. SCCA and such. I still hope to stick as close as the military will allow with the EF Squad. I'd love to see the crew grow, and be as much a part of it as I was before, though...from a different angle, for the time being.

My ego, I believe, will stay fairly in check. Straight up, I hate mustang owners because of their egos. I don't plan to jump on board with any "mustang clubs" around here ANY time soon...so don't worry.

Anyways, gotta be up in 2 hours to see the mother and foster brother off to the beach. Then...huge friggin' "white trash" party tomorrow night after my date. All invited, anyone's welcome...just be in touch by phone.

Jermaine...yes, she's quick...but you just wait. Our transaction today may either end in remote start/alarm/few other toys, or one hell of a radar detector that's hidden in the grill...we'll see. I've already got speakers...

I guess Jay has never used a Valentine One. I get significantly advanced radar warnings with mine, and with a little bit of practice you learn to pick out the real threats from the false alarms.

Laser warnings aren't that great, but without a jammer it's nearly impossible to avoid a laser trap or get warned about it. Like with any detector, when the laser warning goes off that means you need to pull to the shoulder because you're already ****ed.

I think that style of wheel is far too common (read: played out). Then with a wheel that wide and with that offset, just rolling the fenders won't be enough.

Eh, I don't know enough wheels to know they were knock offs. Another guy on the wagon forums had these with his car tuckin' and it was with rolled fenders and a lowering only. I was looking at these MR2 rims for sale but decided against it. It's either those or Axis OG.

I think they would look good once I lower it. I'm probably going to get it painted next month with painted bumpers and door handles.

Eh, for now I'm leaving the d15b2 in there. I'm going stock color and the engine is fine paint wise. It could use a good scrubbing but it's fine.

Eh, I need good mileage. I'm not skilled enough to do a swap alone either. If I had more knowledge or someone with it to help I probably wouldn't think twice other than the fact I could really use better MPG's. lol. If I swap I guess it will be d series. D16Z6/D15B.
