    ok, its been two weeks and im stumped, i still have the damn iacv code it only studers at 1.5k-2k after that or b4 it, it dosent do that. i looked at the wiring it all apears to be right. just wanted to see if you guys could help.. i need this shit done lol.


    like ive said, obd1 b16, frog ecu jumper, p28 ecu it was pulled from a running car no codes, the engine harness was pulled out with the motor nothing was disconected or pulled except the tower plugs. the car i put it in was dpfi, the guy wired it up for mpfi. the car sounds like the idle is right, so, i assume the mpfi swap at the ecu is right, only code is iacv..(14)

    hit me up with anything...

    honsetly, that's pretty cheap LOL for a turbo kit. You can always go homemade turbo, but that takes time and you need a good fab man! I you can build your own engines, then I say go for it! Just machining get costly and aftermarket stuff is pretty high!

    ok i know its not plugs being backwards, i check that 1st, its wierd because i didnt mess with any of the wiring under the hood,.. and about it being bad unlikely... because it worked fine b4 the swap.

    This is a cheap and nice ass LS setup making 172 WHP @ 7100 rpms, 136 WTQ @ 5800 rpms. That's pretty damn good for a LS and his setup! I was going to copy his setup when I was going with a LS

    never know shit happens!

    Anyways, if everything was in tack, then it might of been user (installer) error then. Double and triple check all the wiring again! Make sure everything that was soldered (or bud connected) is still connected! Also make sure no wire is grounded!

    i went through and looked at all the wires that were modified, but anything past that like knowing where they go im lost.. but, ill check agian lol also ill try cleaning the sensor just to check..

    is there a "write-up" on dpfi to obd1 lol just so i can check all the wiring under the dash or would it be the same as just dpfi to mpfi since i have the jumper harness?

    lol, most people do a mpfi swap first then swap over to obd1, so if you have a problem you know if it's the mpfi wiring or the obd1 wiring.

    I still have a heater bypass hose for you. I can bring it down on friday, or tomorrow if necessary but I'd prefer friday. that way I can stay there until whenever o'clock to make sure it gets running. did you remember to bolt down the thermostat ground?
