Also I'm looking at a 500$ D15B...
If I sold my two d15's, that D15B would be in range to being affordable. It'd have low mileage, MPFI, VTEC...and it's still fit all SCCA regulations for the league I wanna go into... That, and it has 130hp (crank-rated) stock...so I probably wouldn't bust it open to build it...
So it'd be the CRx with OBD1 D15B, and the Civic with LSVTEC.
I don't see any other setups like that in the EF crew. Would be fun to have something more to compare to.
And big D would be happy cuz it's all "JDM" and stuff...

As for the D15B I like it, but dont really like it. It's a 1.5 with around 130hp (which is crazy), but that motor is "different." It has a head similar to a d16z6 but the block is kinda crazy. The pistons are smaller than every other d-series so you cant swap different pistons into it and there's no aftermarket pistons for it.

What should I build or put in the CRx? SCCA rules state that to stay in the class I wanna be in, I have to weigh one pound per CC of the motor. But...I think they only go off the stamp on the block... Basically, I wanna keep a 1.5L SOHC in the rex to keep it in that class. Boring it out and such is optional, if I so choose...
Throw down some suggestions? I'll let the EF squad decide my build...

If I were to do this all over again and wanted something reliable plus quick, I would go with D's setup, B16a LSD, with cams,header,intake, and exhaust! His car is quick and can keep up with me, even after all this money I dumped into this bitch! On all the setups I would go with a vtec head (y8 on the n/a cuz of the higher c/r it gives and z6 on the rest). All the setup would be fun as hell to drive and look to beat most stock b-swap efs.
