    I think I went far out of my range skipping the ZC,D series vtec, and the b16 LOL I thought the GSR would have liked me but that bitch dosn't

    u know the rex and hatch fenders are shaped differently. So if u wanted to so the conversion more than likely u gotta use the hatch fenders. Oh yeah the fenders are not different between the years. the molding is different and how your mount your corner lights (but that can be changed by replacing the slots where u screw the light down, with the 90-91 style brackets.

    Oh yeah LOL well really im not sure because A GSR longblock is going for 1800 and a complete swap for a b16a is going for 1500 and up .... I love my torque that's the only temptation that has me leaning toward another GSR!

    Just got my answer back...

    EF8 fronts WILL fit on the EF9 body, but it doesn't look right, and there's some mods that need to be in affect. Looks like I'll be stick to the EF9 conversion, or keeping it USDM. I'll probably stay USDM since I can't do EF8, and I don't like the EF9 nose.

    Also got word that no, the CRx mirrors DO NOT fit the Civic hatch.

    Which means project "USDM body-back-to-stock" will take place where I'll be ditching the Z3's, pulling dents, replacing the dented rear hatch and driver's door, trying to find a CF ZC or SiR (for usdm) hood, and will be stepping to 15" Rota Slips (or Drag DR23...same wheel) or Circuit 8's...but I think the Circuit 8's are heavier. Bondo for shaved-sides will get taken off, and side moldings will go back on.

    or

    Project "guts" will go into affect where I'll get the interior nice and finish it off in black. Got CRx seats (front), and CRx dash in sleek gray/black. Probably fake-leather sleek gray headliner (and sunvisors), and all black interior and black carpet will go in with new black door sills. Probably put 1 12 (removeable) in the hatch area with a cargo cover.

    It'll be fun...daily driver that's nice and sporty, and I can have it ready for the track with one hour of prep time on the weekends.

    Oh well, I guess...with a USDM body, I'm more likely to wanna jump it to the track for SCCA instead of keeping it on the streets. Also, I guess I'll have to hunt down a CRx shell again...someday. In the meantime, maybe I'll find a hatch shell, put the d15 in it, and sell it off...try to get some profit from it.

    Getting a CRx will have to come after the two project cars I'll be working this summer, though.

    Project one is a 1962 Plymouth Belvedere 4door getting built for drag. Owned by country music star Jennifer Nettles. Ditching the inline-6 in it, most likely, and going with a 318 or 383 V8, gutting the insides (floors are all rusted out) and working from the inside out.

    And no, Halfwit does not need a ZC tranny. The gears are shorter than an A6 box, which would be kinda dumb with a turbo car.

    That's not exactly true either. ZC trannys are stronger than normal D series trannys, and are the only D series that use equal length drive axles with an intermediate shaft like the B series do.

    You have to modify them because the CRX windshield has more of a slope to it than a Civic hatch does.

    Generally with B series swaps you use 90-93 Integra axles WITHOUT ABS. The ABS ring will fuck up how they spline into your hub. As far as where to get them, you should be able to get some at any parts store.

    what the hell happened to that prelude?

    BTW, anyone need any EF parts? Guy that I'm talkin' to is trying to find me some parts, and says if any of ya'll need parts, he'll try to get them as well. For buying as a "package" it'll come for cheaper both shipping and the more we buy, the more he'll discount...

    Let me know. I'm looking at EF9 Folding Mirrors, Rear Fogs, and Power Windows
