I think it's unreasonable to assume that I would stay in Georgia forever. I moved to GA from Oklahoma, before that I was in South Carolina, and before that I was in Pennsylvania. An imported car is one thing, my point was that converting a car to RHD is dumb, and I have no idea why people do it.

I agree with ya 100%. The conversion is gay. I would only import a car because of the models and options we didn't received (CTRs, SiRs, ITRs, glassroofs, automatic targa tops...), but rhd would be the last reason for me to import a car.
You got few people that may give you a run for your money at a strip (green91, slow_hatch, Disco Monkey, & Kevin). If everything goes as planned, I'll join the the list with the hatch once I build this spare single cam.
Anyways, didn't you say you was going to a track near you? If so, what's the car run now?

Do it dare, the sohc is a beast if you plan them out. I hate to always sound like a b-series hater but the damn d16 are to much fun to get power out of.
I always been a boost hater, but after Jeff introduced me to boost I been kinda intrigued. Then when JDMJAY got the swap from ya, he gave me the old d15 so I'm going to play around with that. I been toying with the "forge rods with vitara piston" idea for a minute (Which I hear can hold up to 400hp. That would be perfect for my goal 250-275hp). Plus, I been pricing everything I need to build the bottom end, and it's less than $500
How is your fuel economy with the boosted single?
With my previous setup i was still getting 34-36mpg. My new setup is still a little to new to tell so after i put some miles on it ill be able to tell you. Id expect atleast low 30s.
Check out a guy on homemadeturbo and honda-tech named FJT, hes got a KILLER deal on custom i-beam rods for the usdm d15b that gives you normal compression with the vitara pistons and are cheaper than eagles.
Oh yeah, dont take it to hard when your boosted d15b2 pos dx motor is quicker than your b16

Those were the rods I was going to get (I guess I'm off to a good start)I believe they are a tab above $200 which is a steal!
I'm not going to have to worry about the hatch being faster than the rex for too long. The main reason for getting that hatch was to have a nice beater while the rex goes under the knife. So once the hatch get done, the CRX goes missing for a few months.
So the CRX will be making 400hp NA? lol..

I haven't been to a drag strip yet, I need to work on getting some slicks to run on. Boost + street tires is a disaster. I'll definitely post up when I get some times, but I'm slightly handicapped by the elevation here (2700 ft).
For the haters, I live in Idaho because it's where I got my best job offer. I didn't decide one day to move to Idaho, the only thing I wanted was to go west.
You can make a ton of power with an all-motor B20 VTEC, Larry @ Endyn was putting down almost 320 hp on an engine dyno. It just requires a lot of attention to detail to pull every ounce of power out of that engine.

I'd been talking to the wifey, and she decided to get her Ph.D. Soooooo it's a 95% chance that I'll be leaving GA (unless she decides to goto Emory which is toward the bottom of her list) at the beginning of the year.
The June 21st night event looks nifty. I went to a night event that Highlands Sports Car Club ran and it was a lot of fun.
If I weren't broke as a joke, I might try to make it down.
Soloatlanta events are really very well run. The courses flow fairly well and are technical enough to be challenging without being frustrating.

My thing is, "what if" the cop is crooked? By saying **** it, he won again and going to continue to be sneaky. Which is!!! After talking to family member of mines (who's an officer), he says county cops pend to target out of state cars just for the fact that they wont (or cant) fight the ticket. Is that right? Nope. More then likely I'm not going back up there, but I am going to make an attempt my mail and/or phone to get intouch with the judge of that county to plead my case.

What you need to do is find out if the cop had a vehicle camera and microphone on his car, call the station were the cop was working, and demand that you get a copy of his oath of office. If they refuse to supply you with the oath of office, threaten them with a commercial lien (forget the exact term). They are required by law to provide you with a copy of his oath of office. Once they have given you a copy of his oath, bring it to court, claim not guilty, and using his oath, demand that the vehicles video be claimed and used in court to prove that he has broken his oath.good to see you back Cato

My brother in-law just beat gwinnett counties captain in court (illegal search and seazure), and we are now in the process of sueing him and Gwinnett County. My Uncle also placed a lien against the majority of Dekalb counties judicial system, incuding several cops.
