I was at the ''da'' meet which was initially just a Honda meet. I made it out right after picking my EF up. I'd be down to put up a meet thread in the Events section if you guys want to get together. I'm eager to see some of your rides and maybe pick your brains. :goodjob: I did post pictures of my purchase in the Car Pics section, too.
Exactly, the next meet needs to be basic. A "meet" is much easier for everyone to attend. Some people don't do the mtns, and others don't go out a drag, but everyone can just meet up at a spot and chill, Something simple.Quote:

i think it's more of the long drive than anything... cause there's like 3+ ef's in columbus, and then there's u and slow_hatch up in the mountains.... just doesn't seem like everyone is around the same general area.
you'd be surprised there are a bunch of us up in the dahlonega area but its just not worth it to drive 1.5 hours to Atlanta and leave 11pm only to get back after midnight especially on a weeknight. But when everyone gets together in Gainesville and my car is roadworthy (and I've got time) i usually come out. I've been to several meets in the Gainesville area in the last year or so
gainesville isn't THAT bad of a drive for me, but still, it's kinda far to be going on a week night w/ school and work the next day.
Oh i understand, i still have to get up @ 6am to get to work so i dont go out much on weeknights

Well, I have to disagree with that one. I never try to exclude anyone (when I'm at a meet). I talk to everyone there and try to get them participate with the rest of the group. It's really up to the person if they want to get down or just be an outsider.Quote:
