My bad...I can see how you could get that out what I posted...but I was saying it in general. Not neccesarily about the particular tranny he's buying. Just simply that I agree he SHOULD go with a b16, and to NOT get an LS tranny for it...the two don't bond well...

any b-series tranny (except preludes and crvs) will work. You have to options getting a cable or hydro tranny. Cable trannies are recommended since our cars use cable trannies, but they are old and grind most of the time. Hydro tranny are better for the fact that they are newer, but they would cost more and you have to get a cable-hydro conversion kit.
