I have a '90 model civic that has power door locks, but I have no remote so I still have to use the key to unlock the door. Would installation of this alarm kit also enable keyless enry?

Hello, no this system does not come with keyless entry.

Hey! I have a 93 prelude. I want to get a component system for the front. I previously had Alpine type r's and liked them. Recently been looking at jl c2's and was wondering which of these two or anything else around this price range you would recommend. An amp to power them is needed as well. I listen to all types of music from heavy metal to folk so something that makes it all sound nice would really be appreciated. I currently have a pioneer 5100ub head unit if you need that info. If you could get back to with some info and quote's id appreciate it.

IMO, the Alpine Type R and JL Audio C2's will be similar in sound. I would choose the one with a better price. I sell the Alpine's for $160/pair and the JL's for $200/pair. Another option I would suggest with a comparable performance would be the Polk Audio DB Series. I will have to double check the price tomorrow...can't remember the price, but will cheaper than both.

We actually do not carry Clarion, so you would have to get it. The best priced amp that I have is the Quantum Audio QB2150 for $80, it can be seen here...

The rated power shown on the website is MAX, RMS is about half of that. So it would be a good fit for the Bazooka without overpowering it. If you do not have amplifier wiring for the install, we have 8 gauge kits for $10 and 4 gauge kits for $20. 8 gauge is more than fine for that set-up, but if you ever want to upgrade in that same vehicle to more power, it is better to get the 4 gauge.

To install the amp/sub, it will be $90 labor. To hardwire the headunit and bypass the stock amp, it will be $185 labor. Now, since it is being hardwired and bypassed, we would not offer any warranty on the headunit install. The amp/sub install would have a 1 year warranty and the amp itself would have a 1 year warranty.

As far as the installation quality, you can check some of our installs under our installation section. Plus we have 600+ additional install photos at the store for viewing. I would put our work up against any shop out there. Thanks

The customer wanted a custom look and to carry the outside theme inside the car. He just ordered the black SRT8 seats and will be installed soon. So we wrapped the headliner in red suede, the 6 pillars (a, b, c) in black suede, and the rear deck in black suede.
