hahaha/\/\ good deal... its better to get someone who has experirence and knows what their doing Nittanys1 is prob the best here in Georgia...
headlights are done guys! Installed, sealed and powered. only problem now is that they are aimed way to high...a good foot to two....so i need to figure out what the h&ll I'm going to do to get that worked out....
no pics tonight as I'm a little pissed off and dont want to show how off aim they are....
Cool write up. I am glad you are writing this up for everyone. I am even more glad that you are doing this retrofit. HID retrofits are much better in quality than any other non-OEM setup. Props to you for such hard work too...

thanks man, much appreciated...it is hard work. I almost went with the S2K lights but couldnt wait to find a good deal on them
very well-done retro
Appreciate it. Im debating on going out and getting pics of the cut off....I have had a few to drink so im not sure if ill be going out...
Well I took apart the headlight (left side) last night and fixed my problem, resealed them up and and installed them today. I washed the car yesterday which was the first wash it has had in 3 months!!! Once I got the light installed I went out on a photo shoot! ENJOY! If I don't go and do anything tonight I'll have some pics up from night time
Ohh and on a final note I took the orange reflectors out and swapped in the clear one....they will look better now and when ever I get around to painting the car. (another color...shhh)

beautiful work
me next please
if you have the money I can take care of it!
NICE JOB MAN! I've been looking into retrofitting forever but all my cars have pop ups lol
you can get the ones that dont pop up on your car and go from there
I'd prefer not to... It ruins the look of the car IMO.Originally Posted by Nittanys1

That's the idea man. It looks great! I need to dig back in for the pictures of the cutoff. Nittany- S2k lights are really expensive now, but I don't think there is too much difference in S2k/TSX/TL setups, are there? You would know better than I...Originally Posted by ironchef

Oh yeah- those cutoff pics are nice. So how would you comment on the improvement in light? I know I was mystified when I first went to HID.

Well lets just put it this way...I can now drive at nightIf I can find my camera charger I my take some more cutoff pics tonight now that I have aimed them better!
The TSX and TL are the same thing. I thnk the S2k has a little different set up but am not sure.
Cool- glad you got it setup right. Blinding people is not cool... But I bet people will flash you and think you have brights on. People do it to me all the time, and then I have to show them what brights look like....lol. It would be interesting to do a photo comparo for your retros and my OEMs... hmm

Yeah I was worried about that seeing as i technically am not allowed to have these lights on my car. I messed a little with the projectors before I put them in. I added two washers to them to make the cut off more colorful...the only downside to this is that the cut off line is not as sharp...but o well!
Yeah It be cool to meet up sometime and take some pics in the city and what not.
bump to be moved into the DIY section

Nice work!! I would have used TSX projectors, easiest to use but they didn't fit in my corolla headlights.
S2000 i believe have the sharpest cutoff of all the projectors out there and have one of the clearest lenses along with the Toyota Celica lens.
I used to rock the Celica projectors in my Corolla, now it's Acura MDX projectors!!
