I dont see how this is any more dangerous then having it wedged between my seat and the console? Its in a locking holster... unless your implying it will break off and hit me in the face?

Its the fact of of all places to put the gun that was a bad one. I mean stick it under ya dash or over your head somewhere. I wouldnt want cops or people seeing it out in the blue like that.
