DIY on reupholstering seats???

I have some old off brand racing seats and I wanted to try my hand at reupholstering them. Has anybody ever done a DIY on it, or can somone assist me in trying it out? Any help is appreciated.

-Experienced person assistance
-or ultimately an affordable company in Ga to do it (LAST RESORT)
