I have a 99 accord with a j32a2 6 speed swap. SOme surfaces are easy to sand with 1000 grit then 2000 grit then polish to a polished shine. Now im starting on the tranny. where it has been weathered to the, cold, rain, heat, in is dull of coarse and it takes like 3 sheets to barely get it shiny in a 3inch by 3 inch surface. And the paper aint cheap. What is the best method to get this crud off? maybe go down to 500 or 800 first? Maybe the mothers power ball? i have seen good stuff from that. Whats a good routine. It's a really weathered tranny. I want it SHINY!!! Notice this is all hand done.
