damn dude that looks good in pictures haha
Can you tape over the paint? my body is solid to the roof and i want to do a black roof with a different color bottom so if i tape the bottom half off after painting it is going to peel the paint off with the tape?
I have a Turd in my pocket.
cant believe im still getting PM's about this!
for the work you did, you could have spend 80 bucks mor,e bought real paint nad sprayed with a gun in your garage

extremely good write up!
i agree , plus go ahead and try to put good paint over this krylon and see what happens , its cant be buffed, and it will cost you 150 bux in sand paper to have it removed , not including 1 weeks worth of labor from a skilled tech , i just dont see where people think this is a good idea ... imo ... p.s. im a certified auto body tech and have 8 years of exp.. ( my motto - if you dont have time to do it right the first time when will you find time to redo it?)
Interesting...
I have one of those primered cars. lol.
But idt id want to do this.
That shit looks damn good to be rattle can. Nice work
Ever think of trying Duplicolor paint + their spray on clearcoat? I think that's what I saw in the mag that was referenced a few pages back.
Dirtragz knows! I've taken wheels in to paint that were done in Krylon\Rustoleum...first time I sanded the wheels down and started to spray primer. Must have been some residue left. Wrinkle city...had to re-strip them with aircraft paint stripper. Never again will I work on someones stuff that was painted in Krylon...What would have been a few hours work turned into a full day.
turned out pretty good for spray paint i always thought about how sumthing like that would turn out compared to goin to maaco and whatnot and its looks decent
Stick with duplicolor if you have to use sprayIt's the only spray paint I've had the least amount of headaches with when spraying automotive paint over. I usually use Dupont / SEM products too so who knows maybe someone with PPG could spray over Krylon/Rustoleum without problems. I am unsure as to what it is in those paints that causes a chemical reaction and wrinkle in the finish.
alot better
yea it looks pretty good, a few coats of clear wouldnt hurt
