    No they don't have purple...red and black only

    VC came out great!!! I liked the red in there better tho!

    that is some really strong paint thinner ....i've done this before and it took me forever to sand my vc down

    good write up. aircraft strip is the way to go, screw sanding it. I did mines in vht wrinkle red, came out real good!

    true, went to like 10 advance and autozone, they carry vht but only black and stop stocking red. oreillys still carries both.

    What is the down-side if you just use regular spray paint like rustoleum?

    might flake due to the heat....make sure it can stand the temperatures

    im pretty sure all the auto parts places mentioned carry engine paint (for high temps), ive seen it used on those cheesy 30min. car shop shows on speed channel like gearz and truck-u. they usually use dupli-color and it comes out good.

    you dont need high temp paint for your vc. it does not get hot enough to melt or peel.
