That damage is not tree sap as the car was garaged then sat in a lot for a few months before I purchased it. Whenever this holiday weekend is over or I just have spare time away from this business laptop I'll finally post pics. Sorry for the lengthy delay.
The laminate is purposely put between two layers glass so it can't be harmed.
