I think this would be good in the DIY section. Let me know if you don't mind and I'll move it, Nittanys1.

I can but does it really matter? I know its in the new rules but I had this done before that...its more of a universal DIY rather then a car specific DIY.....

I like how all the trim is the original color makes it look like it came that way from the factory, if I ever get the nerves up I'm going to attempt this, but +rep for a factory looking job there............

i say just plasti-dip all the plastic pieces. I used plasti-dip on my center console, and i love it. if you havnt heard of it, it has a rubber-like finish

you spray and apply, working it slowly on as you lay the cloth...its extremely hard/impossible to show you that with only one person there to do the DIY...

another thought...i started in the middle and worked my way out. I only applied glue to a little area and laid that down then more glue and laid that part out and worked my way to the end...

I have been receiving countless PMs with ppl wanting to know where I purchased the fabric. It has been on page 3 but I have now updated the original post with the link to the fabric.

I have also been getting asked about the visors so here is that info...

Re: Question about DIY sun visors.

there are teeth around 90% of the visor where both side of the fabric was shoved into the teeth and they held on to it. when I removed my old fabric I made sure to keep it whole and then use that as a template to trace, make sure to leave about 1/2 inch around the template.

Also what did you use to push the fabric in to these teeth you mentioned, a flat blade screwdriver or were you able to get it in with a finger?
