I think this would be good in the DIY section. Let me know if you don't mind and I'll move it, Nittanys1.![]()

I can but does it really matter? I know its in the new rules but I had this done before that...its more of a universal DIY rather then a car specific DIY.....

Thanks everyone! I can still feel hom much pain my thumbs were in from rubbing that foam off the headliner! That part was NOT FUN AT ALL!
I like how all the trim is the original color makes it look like it came that way from the factory, if I ever get the nerves up I'm going to attempt this, but +rep for a factory looking job there............

i got it at an ace hardware store, the stuff its cheap no more then $10
that looks pretty cool! I might just have to do that! It gives me a solution for the trim around the sunroof. Thx
good job on the diy work.. but fail on the further teaching of how its done!
what? I want to know more on applying it to the part you want it attached tooOriginally Posted by Nittanys1
you spray and apply, working it slowly on as you lay the cloth...its extremely hard/impossible to show you that with only one person there to do the DIY...
another thought...i started in the middle and worked my way out. I only applied glue to a little area and laid that down then more glue and laid that part out and worked my way to the end...
Cant say I do. Never done anthing thing like that. But I was just asking...Originally Posted by Nittanys1
Yeah.... I'd like to know where you picked the suede up. I want to do my Accord.

I have been receiving countless PMs with ppl wanting to know where I purchased the fabric. It has been on page 3 but I have now updated the original post with the link to the fabric.
I have also been getting asked about the visors so here is that info...

you doing your mistu? I dont know how those are made, however my honda ones were basically just stuffed together.
there are teeth around 90% of the visor where both side of the fabric was shoved into the teeth and they held on to it. when I removed my old fabric I made sure to keep it whole and then use that as a template to trace, make sure to leave about 1/2 inch around the template.

Also what did you use to push the fabric in to these teeth you mentioned, a flat blade screwdriver or were you able to get it in with a finger?

^^^ Thanks again man.
+12 for the info. Once I get alittle extra cash I'm going to do my Accord. But one more question, Which suede did you buy?? The $18 kind or the $82 kind?
