if you're messing with the i7 and are wantinga powerhouse computer,then you should look at the AMD Phenom II X3.i just finished building my friend's computer and just on air cooled,i got it's speeds once the bios was overclocked,to about 3.7.yo could go as high as 4-4.23 with a liquid cooled system.the i7 is a good cpu,but the AMD is just as good and cost about 700 less.however,if you're still wanting to mess with the i7,then i would recommend the i7 920.very good processor and very easy to get overclocked to awesome speeds!!either way,good luck with the build.Originally Posted by dtmcnamara
