Actually, that isn't a nitrous "spike". They had a bad tach signal, hence the spike in torque. This run was done on boost alone, no nitrous.

ya i know 1439 guy is gonna flame me for this but fuck 4g63 simply dont like the engine because the power to boost. 45 psi and its not over 800 ? whats that about im sure there is one out there that is makin more at the same psi but still that and the fact that mitsu's are just junk i had one kept the maintance up on it and the motor took a shit i didnt even hammer it at all DD. wasnt even high mileage. as far as power goes with four cylinders honda > 4gay63. not to mention no one has really even cracked the shell of the k series turbo yet.

I believe AMS was making around 988awhp on a GT42R at that boost level, so I don't know where you got your numbers from. Shep is making well over 1000awhp with 50 psi and spray. Probably in the 1200+awhp range, but he won't disclose his cars numbers.Originally Posted by thinkskater

there's no wrong way to go fast, if you're doing it then you're doing it. a 2L motor making nearly 1000whp through an AWD drivetrain IS impressive.
