My commerce results....on street tires..post yours

Well went up to see what i could do on street tires{the ones i drive on everyday} . All i did was take out the rear seats and passenger seat. I thought i was gonna run a 14 with a LOT of traction problems. Nope ... First run out i ran a 13.5xx . I was like hell yea. So final run i got i ran a [email protected] . This was my best trap so far. Over all i was pleased..I was on falken azenis rt-615s at 20psi. They grabbed like hell!! I got a 13.5 and 2.1 60' s all night. So i think my slicks were to big for my setup as best run on them was [email protected] i got a 2.0 60' with the zenies i would get a 13.3 or so...Heres my slip next to my slick slip..Look how much i got in the 1000'-1/4 mile mark..

This is in a cx model a few boltons with hondata...Still have stock header and cat....I need to get the nitrous on it..This also tells me with the right size slicks i think i could dip in the 12s on a good run.

Congrats on the run.... what size of slick did run with? cause i ran with 24.5x8x13 with 187whp and ran 12.8@104....

Thanks...I could have done better but i was kinda scared to launch at any more than 3k...My mounts are shot. Got new ones on the way.. Ill look and see what size the slicks are....

Yea then he blew something..Looked like a purge at about the 1000' to the 1/4... He ran a 10.4 or something. I have never seen so much somke. Gotta give him props he stayed in it till the end even though it was smoking...hardcore..hehe

coasting down the track, hence the low mph, then catching on fire for a minute.

when he shot nitrous in 3rd it blew the valve cover gasket and blew out the spark plugs electroide from what i heard...shit if that didnt happened... im sure he would have been well into the low low 10's

First clean pass, the highest trap was 121. I ran the 1/8th the weekend before and it was promising enough to make me want to try the 1/4. Unfortunately thats it till next year.
