    Have you read that this championship seems to upset the ACO since the ACO sees GT2 as the premier GT series now and the reason the FIA made the GT2 a European series instead of a World Championship is because the GT2 teams can't afford to travel in a world championship. This is why FIA Ferrari team FA Corse has moved to the ELMS.
