I hate to inform you but the STI bottom end can handle way more power than the EVO's bottom end.
no thhat is the sti only problem, to inform you becaus eif that was the case then there would be more stis running better times at the track.

The bottom end has nothing to do with people's track times. Maybe the people with the Sti's can't drive.
thats not it man, look i have a evo and my boy has a sti, the stis bottom end is the weak point of that car, there is only one sti pushing 500plus horse power that has been seen it might have a stock block or i think he has rods and pistons and it ran at the evo sti showdown, sti have great clutches and trannies, but most who try to push it blows it up, the bottom end needs work and it has already been show that the stcok evo block can hold more, look at tracy from batleground and a couple other shop throughout the country.

Only one sti pushing 500plus? LOL You need to get out more. There are tons of STI's push 550 plus on the stock block. Go to God Speeds and King Pin's websites that can give you a idea what people are making on stock blocks. You just don't hear about the Sti's that much cause on the eastcoast more shops run Evo's but when you go out west its a different story.
Tons might be an exageration, but there are a few that are pushing 500-550 on the stock bottom end.

i havent seen an STi blow up with 380whp on stock block.. however i have seen Evo's blow up at 350.
doesnt matter. both cars are very similar.. however... the STi doesnt have clutch/transfer case issues, interior overall is more solid, Calipers dont chip and fade pink. thats all im saying. im not bashing the Evo at all.. look at the sig, im just saying overall the STi is a much more solid car. motor stoutness.. they are close
and i gave lemanz compliments, its a nice ride.. just told him to take care of it.

yes they do. they just can handle a bit more than the evo clutches. been seeing a lot more stis needing clutches lately.
