Most of everything you need is there. First time out just sign up for the Novice class that will get you some instruction and really help you out the first time. Safety things you just need a helmet or they provide them usually if you need to borrow one for your runs and just a working car. Seatbelts, seat, battery tied down, tires aren't completely corded, etc.

If you fail tech at an autocross you shouldn't even be driving it down the road lol.

what about the driving class? Is it required to take?(I'll be 16 when starting if that helps anything.)
