These two new classes are becoming very popular and are typically filled with 11 to 13 second street cars. The next IFO near Atlanta is on October 18th, 2009 at Atlanta Dragway. All series info on WWW.IMPORTFACEOFF.NET

ALL CLASSES EXCEPT BRACKET ARE .400 PRO TREE HEADS UP.

FWD QUICK 8/16 - $700 1st, $300 2nd, $100 semis 1, $100 semi 2, $50 to each quarter: 4 cyl only, oem frame, no exhaust or tire restrictions, wheelie bars OK for n/a only.

FORCED INDUCTION PRO - $600 1st, $200 2nd, $100 semi 1, $100 semi 2, $50 to each quarter - A/R/FWD 4/6 cyl or rotary, oem frame, dot tires, front seats, and exhaust reqd. *Slicks and open exhaust OK in 2010.

FORCED INDUCTION SPORT - $200 1st, $100 2nd - street legal, daily driven A/R/FWD 4/6 cyl or rotary, exhaust/interior/current tags reqd, slicks OK for FWD only.

Because FI pro is actually the old "Street Class" so we have to keep those rules until 2010 since there are some points racers who set up their car sspecifically for the current rules. If we just changed the rules mid season there would be a lot of pissed off racers.

In 2010, FIP will allow slicks, open exhaust, and out of manufacturer motor swaps.

No need to complain, Commerce is a very strict track. After you run so fast they will have you go back thru tech. Its happened to me alot, they are strict but looking out for eveyones safety. Thats a long way too tow a car, just too be kicked out.
I hope too have the car running by then, but will see as it draws closer.

P.s can you bring my motor with you!!!!:boobies:

I dont think they really care about a chute on the car. I know peter was trapping well over 150mph and they never said anything too him. His cage wasnt even certified, but they did make sure he had a cage in the car.

If you trapping over 135 mph they gonna check for a cage, Drivers jacket, helmet.I think that was all they looked for.

You better go out and get some practice now. Its easy making the power, the hard part is putting it down in a FWD car. I have leanred that over the years.

You can make a 1000hp but if u cant keep the wheels from spinning, you aint winning.

cause if its done and i feel like driving it ill bring it. who said its cool? not me. and bro i know how to drive, i wont need but maybe 3-4 shakedown passes and ill be good to go, But besides the point i think it will be more like november before i get it up and going cause im gonna change manifold designs and maybe get a fuel system that will support 700+...and possibly thinking of droping my swap in my del sol instead of this ridiculously light ef.

EG Hatch, should be in the high 12's on slicks. I know its way to slow for the pro class but it'll be fun to race again. The only interior is the seats and all of the dash components. Guess I should've said the All motor pro class.

They checked my car for a window net too. If you start running 9's they will ask to see your chassis cert and ask if you have an NHRA license, atleast that's what they did to me. Commerce and Gainesville, FL both booted me for not having them.
