    Well, i doubt even i could figure out the answer to that question by just looking at the casing and i also doubt Williams would ever release a real picture of the internals of that transmission.

    Too late, but looks like a CVT. Oh, and I knew by looking at the schematic of the internals rather than google.

    Yup, the main band connecting the input and output shafts gives it away real quick.
