    Le Mans Stuff

In 2011 NO MORE V10 and V12 engines allowed in the prototype classes. LMP1 cars will then feature smaller "fuel efficent" engines, like LMP2 cars. For LMP1 you can run a 3.4 NA V8, 2.0 6 cylinder with turbo, or a 3.7 twin turbo diesel V8. For LMP2 they will run GT2 styled engines, including a diesel option.

Next year hybrids will be allowed, but not classified in results. 2010 will be when these are eligible for results.

Dayum. Remember Max Papis at Road Atlanta? I thought he'd been in a fight before i found out he got hit by an RV.

    Bicyles are dangerous.

    Le Mans

*Shed a tear for the JUDD V10. *

Toyota has said they want to return to Le Mans with a hybrid. But it is still all talk and nothing from TTE has surfaced.

Canada is def gone. This week sponcers for the Canada race came forward but Bernie was asking for an unreal amount of money for the race to continue. So no North American GP from now on.

    Bernie

Vettle is def the story for next year and i hope Alonzo can get out and hurt them all as well. We had 7 different race winners in 08 and i hope the same heat continues in 2009. And i hope they realize what an ugly car these rules are asking for. I really hope the "Anvil" will still be allowed for next year. It was my favorite aero element for the past 2 years.
