I don't autocross my Miata much anymore. That's why that picture in my sig is Road Atlanta.

I meant if you put 25k in your Civic to autocross it I personally would track it or something on road courses.

I never said you WERE using your Civic.

Im not saying your broke. And im not saying your rich. But if you had that kind of money to start out with, i doubt you would be autocrossing.

I did and couldn't find your name in the points. What car/ #/ class?

Are you familiar with honda's, especially the cvcc (although it's unclear if he's even purportedly going to use this for autox)? Have you ever looked at the engine bay or even seen how much work it is to put a gsr swap in there?

Yeah, the 89si is still the car to beat as of last year for STS and everybody spending $$$ on those cars to get them to that point.

But oooh, for the $25k budget you're talking about - I'd rather go to SM in a Daddio clone evo RS.

Shows your knowledge base on this car. All I need to say.

I couldn't care any less about 240s. And if that's YOUR opinion, then you sign up and race one. Later, QD.

Haha, just trying to help you out kid. Either pick a competitive car for the class you intend to run, or just go out and build whatever you want and get stuck in a class where you won't be competitive.

^MatthewAPM ran a EF. He dominated. I admit he is CRAZY fast at autocross.

    Doesn't take that much.

No "kid" here. I'm old enough to be your Pappy.

Or I could just pick out and run whatever I want to use. First people want to assume what car I'm using and now I'm being told what my plans are in getting back in. This isn't that serious. I'm just doing this for fun. Later, QD>
