    Exclamation TUNERFEST AT COMMERCE discuss

i had a great time nice turn out and it only took 15-20mins to run again not many people entered to race.

took the bird out to see how it performs mechanically. had some issues

first a wire loom came loose from under the car, so i had to pull the car back off the track and take it off

then during a burn out the charge pipe came off, pulled off track again . i only had pliers to tighten with in the car other tools were in my sisters car.

so with the clamp bolt tigthen with pliers lol i got half way down the ttrack and it popped out again... with the MAF not reading the car cuts off

every gear i had traction issues had to take off slow which didnt work out for me , i have a heavy foot. then everytime i shift i have to feather the gas ... i need to get slicks

i am running 275/35/19s and still got traction problems on the track...the street i have great traction.. better luck next time

    best time tractionless 14.1 107mph

mechanically i was not disappointed, ran super smooth at 4psi untuned

It was fun, but i was disappointed that the fastest car was Greg running a 11.6. If Peter clutch wouldnt have gone out he of course would have been faster!! O well always next year!! Nice turnout!!

    ^....what?

    Stock they only run a 15.2 or 15.3. I ran a 15.5 with a sound system and Toyo's and I'm completely stock.

A double clutch (also called a double declutch) is a driving procedure primarily used for vehicles with an unsynchronized manual transmission.

Aight what eva, I was hitting the clutch every time I switched up a gear. lol, that's crazy!

I didnt know you ran. I saw you up there and I was gonna say hey, but you were taking pictures w/a chick on the bed of your truck and I was walking back over to my car in the staging lanes. When I looked for you again, I guess you had already left.

I thought the event sucked pretty good. I was expecting to see some nice times, but it appeared that that the track had been extremely poorly prepped.

    I made 1 pass and ran a 16.5 :-)
