Weight is the enemy if you have a car with little power (like mine). But let's not forget, it's the big bruiser Corvettes that are usually the fastest at most autocrosses. Which illustrates: grip + power = fast.

Some course layouts do favor the big power cars, but on the tighter courses, the Miatas and Civics can run with the big power cars. It's all about sheer grip and driving ability.

I.E.....TIRES, most important factor aside from driver ability.
