you can always get a custom one made by mainstream or others on here!! what has your car run on it's currnet setup?!?

The issue is with what you actually have to do to make a legal SCCA/NHRA cage in the car. RMR (red bull team) does them for $3500, and you lose function of the soft top. That should give you an idea still waiting on a honda del sol-type exemption due to car design for the rollcage to come out, then I'll get one put in. Until then, they can suck my nuts and kick me out of the track.

they already have there approval for scca cage. ever watch setup on the speed channel? all those solstice gxp's have race legal scca cages in them since the first season of the show last year. and at nopi this last sept they had a sky there that was nhra legal. certification plate welded onto the cage. and these were in the gm booth. all you have to do is get the cage built to those specs then certified here in ga. more of a pain in the a$$ than anything here in ga. 1 of the 2 nhra inspector guys here lives out in the boonies.

I know what the specs are, its a matter of completely cutting up the interior of the car to make it scca legal. you have to cut four holes in the floorboard for the main hoop to be welded to the frame, and like i mentioned, you lose use of the soft top. I have no desire to put a hardtop on the car. Like I said, I'll wait until we get an exemption for the rear supports/main hoop like the del-sol has before I bother to put a cage in it. I'm not goin to cut it to pieces.

gotcha sorry for the misunderstanding! cant always tell exactly what someone is getting at on the internet! and i def cant blame you for not wanting to cut up your interior just to have a cage. and i wouldnt wanna have to go to a permanent hardtop either
