Hm, I think there are some that occur in Alabama and up in Tennessee, but unfortuantely I've yet to see a rallycross event happen here ( that I am aware of )

i think you're right man...where the heck could you even have an event? i believe it is something to be hosted by the local scca, so someone should suggest such an event to the correct people...

I've tried, along with a hill climb event, but nothing has ever come from either. There's 57,000 acres of National Forest in Lumpkin Co. (Dahlonega) alone with mile after mile of well maintained fire service roads throughout. I've run just a hair under 3 digits on some of them so can only imagine how a spec rally car would do There is serious potential for both events and been wanting to see it for a longgg time. It would bring quite a bit of commerce to the local businesses too: hotels, restaurants, bed & breakfasts, etc.

Only downside would be an obvious objection from local conservationalist, would almost have to offer something...maybe adopt a part of the area under a non-profit foundation, plant trees, impose a mandatory maximum exhaust decibal for the surrounding wildlife, etc.

Just find someone with a hundred acres or so, i can check with someone and see...it's a long shot but grew up with a family that had about 2,000 acres, since some of the fields get plowed yearly not like it's going to tear anything up
