hmmm same day as the AMS Drift Fury.
Is this the NASA weekend as well? Anyone know if anyone can register?
Yes. NASA will be at Road Atlanta that weekend.
I'll find out more details about the Time Attack. Last year's Time Attack event was held on the Monday after the NASA event.
I really DO NOT recommend participating in this event unless you are very comfotable with open passing; i.e. no point by, and passing in corners.
I'm comfortable with that![]()
We are going, and competing!

We may stay after the NASA weekend and run but as of right now none of our cars will be running the time attack.

How much to enter? What rules? Full cage or will a heavy duity 4-point roll bar be enough?

I'm thinking they do the same rules as NASA TT, which is kind of like Solo 1 rules?
Anyway...

if iam in town i will diff go
Spending money i don't have, to buy parts i really don't need, to impress people i don't know
The Time Attack entrants will be running concurrent with NASA's Time Trial group. I'm not sure yet how that'll work out for timing and scoring, yet.
The Time Attack classing and rules should be available in a link above. NASA's time trial rules can be found by going to www.nasaproracing.com and following the links.
I stated it previously, but NASA's Time Trials are essentially a race group with open passing. By open passing, I mean that other driver's may or may not give you a point-by and a faster car can and will pass slower cars anywhere on track. In March at Road Atlanta we had about 35 cars on track at once.
I'll be there....kicking Dougs ass.
LOL

Just so you guys know, if you are coming out to qualify Its going to probally take times in the Sub 1:42s for FWD and probally Sub 1:37s for RWD and AWD, maybe as low as sub 1:30.

sucks. same day as our event.
Oh, oops. I thought you meant Doug Wind. Sorry.Originally Posted by Big Baller
Qualifying should only be for the Time Attack participants. NASA Time Trials run for the best time for that day's sessions. I should know a little more about how all this is going to work when I talk to the NASA-SE Director Friday night at CMP.Originally Posted by simontibbett
Ok cool thanks
You can just drop one of the 240s off before the event and Scott or I will qualify it for you.Originally Posted by tracy
I'll be there but the STI should be gutted and caged by then and we will probally be running in TTU or TTR.
TTS probally isn't going to be an option anymore.
For the Time Attack we will be bringing two sets of tires but we will probally end up running unlimited.
