What's your ET? I'm pretty sure they just check to see if it says snell inside, rating isn't that big of a deal unless you're running a whole lot faster than i think...

they've never even looked at one of mine... they don't really check it until you're running 10's or better usually.

I'm definately doing 13s. Last year I just had an exhaust and was doing 14.1. Now I've added stage 1, spiking 18psi, 60mm TB, and some other small things.

then you don't need to wear a helmet, not that it's a bad idea, but it's not required.

...i would go ahead and look for a snell 2005, i'm not sure they if they are out on the market yet but snell updates their standards every 5 years and the saftey guidelines update a year or so later. when this happened when they changed from snell 95 to snell 2000 there were a ton of 95 helmets on sale but the places would never tell you that they won't meet standards in a year.

i guess it all depends on where you are going to use it though, some places are a little more lenient(sp?) than others

Helmet is required when running 13.99 or faster...Snell 90,95,2000 will work SFI 31.1,31.2,41.1,or 41.2 will also work..
