Cannonball "One Lap Of America 2007"

Tomorrow morning it all starts! Our TopSpeed shop car a 1996 Subaru Impreza Brighton will start the competition. Our Impreza is a sub 2600lb Subaru with 500whp+ whp on tap.

Last year we did very well with a 5th place overall out of 80+ entries. We placed 1st in Mid priced sedan ahead of AMS, Crawford, and Lake effect racing. We competed last year with a 2005 Subaru STi piloted by Luke Russell of Tampa Florida, and Doug Wilks of Alpharetta Ga. This year we are all out to win!

Here is the schedule of the events.

Saturday, May 5th - Day 1

588 Miles: South Bend, Indiana to Pacific Junction, Iowa With Stops in: Plymouth, Indiana & Joliet, Illinois

Sunday, May 6th - Day 2

987 Miles: Pacific Junction, Iowa to Toole, Utah

Monday, May 7th - Day 3

682 Miles: Toole, Utah to Pueblo, Colorado

Tuesday, May 8th - Day 4

719 Miles: Pueblo, Colorado to Tulsa, Oklahoma

Wednesday, May 9th - Day 5

636 Miles: Tulsa, Oklahoma to Indianapolis, Indiana

Thursday, May 10th - Day 6

236 Miles: Indianapolis, Indiana to Lexington, Ohio

Friday, May 11th - Day 7

262 Miles: Lexington, Ohio to South Bend, Indiana

Saturday, May 12th - The Final Event - Day 8

South Bend, Indiana - The TireRack

Everyone is stepping up their game this year. The Vipers, Corvettes, Ultima GTR's, Porsche's, and Nobles are all back with more power then ever. We are going to have to work!

Atlanta has some friendly competition this year. Subaru of Gwinnett & TopSpeed.

Hopefully we can both represent Atlanta well.
